BC is going to be the determining factor for me. i already know ps4 wont be so i can hold off a few months but will def get one within a year once it has like 2-3 must plays.
if the next xbox has BC then its day one. if not, same scenario as ps4.

i enjoyed the first couple but they are so basic and mindless that they get boring quick and other than using legos as graphics they have little to nothing to actually do with legos. when i think legos i think creativity, building, imagination, etc. those games have none of those qualities. minecraft is the real lego game

maybe not the focus of the article but hilarious nonetheless. that cover system sucks. i have no idea why it got popular but it was done better by rainbow six vegas the same month the original gears launched. the cover system in that was infinitely better....

both will be more of the same without any real significant changes. both will be solid but the god of war games have been the better experience for me. i also prefer action to shooters though.
lost oddessy, too human, enchanted arms, chrono cross, symphony of the night for console, shadow hearts, dantes inferno, jet moto, eternal darkness, etc....... a list like that could go on forever
i preferred the demo to revengeance more than dmc. that said they were both excellent demos and both seem like killer games. i will def pick them both up later this year
depends on how it is being built. if its being built with the same architecture as a pc using mostly off the shelf parts, similar to a ps3 then it wouldnt be that hard to add some things
1. i think the blades need some sort of lock on personally. i find them useless.
2. tone down the Gatling guns, way to strong.
3. i also found the heavy weapons useless. i could kill just about anything with regular weapons first.
4. less reliance on boost. you pretty much needed it to dodge or your dead in seconds making tank acs useless too, at least for missions
5. bring back heat management

2. show those titles but also add in a true banjo sequel, killer instinct, conker, lost Odyssey, etc actually do something with the great ips you never gave a chance too. then toss in a few new ones

ps4 is great. i think sony took many steps in the right direction but i would hardly count ms out. the xbox has a strong following, including myself and now that sony has laid out its hand, ms knows what it needs to respond too.
end of the day, im buying both. selling point for me will simply be BC. if the new xbox can run my old collection then ill get that first so i can play old games in between the inevitable after launch drought. if the new xbox cant play older titles th...
60 is expensive enough and since they often release the same game with more features for $10.00 less on PC clearly the $60.00 price point is a load of garbage.
that said, ive just been waiting 2 months or so for the last year. games seem to be dropping in price faster than ever these days. dead space 3 is already 40
they talk this nonsense at the launch of every console. now granted 55,000 in the US is abysmal but i wouldnt count them out yet. all they need is a hardcore marketing campaign and they will be fine. most casuals i know didnt even know nintendo released a new console. once they get that out there a bit more they will do fine.
its lack of games is natural, its at the beginning of its lifecycle. every console in history has had a mediocre lineup for the first 6months to a year....
i disagree. V was amazing and a return to its roots. 4 was decent, 4answer was also amazing but i like the slower pace.
id like to see the return of radiators and heat management and less reliance on boosters so that tank ACs are useful again but as a whole, AC5 was great.
also needs to improve on the plot, it was okay but could be way better.
other than that, im super pumped for this. hopefully they bring it stateside sooner and not 6 month...
